cabosil

Cabosil is a thickening agent that you can add to your resin to prevent it from running. The more you add, the thicker the resin will become. By adding this filler, you can turn the resin from free-running into anything right up to a thick, pasty material that resembles peanut butter.

Kevin colored this cabosil black, because the car will be painted black in this area. Therefore, any chips in the paint will not be easily noticed.

I'm fascinated to see the photos of the work being done. Thanks for sharing.
